Janet Falkingham, Landscape and Environmental Consultant

Biography

Janet is a Chartered Landscape Architect with more than fifteen years experience and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Janet has experience working on, coordinating and project managing a wide range of landscape projects including design and implementation of environmental improvements and regeneration projects, landscape and visual impact assessments and heritage lottery funded parks projects. She has worked for both local authority and consultancy which has given her a broad range of knowledge based on experience. Jan is also an experienced EIA coordinator and has project managed EIAs for major transportation schemes in the north of England. She has also contributed to the landscape and visual impact assessment chapters of EIAs and been responsible for the design and implementation of landscape restoration schemes for a wide range of developments including landfill and waste management projects, quarrying schemes and commercial and residential developments.
