Biography
Chris is a researcher and technical advisor to CRNS members, specialising in dry recyclates, household & commercial reusables, building materials, WEEE, small reusables.
The Community Recycling Network for Scotland (CRNS) exists to build a strong community recycling sector in Scotland, creating real social, environmental and economic benefits for local communities. CRNS membership comprises over 130 recycling, reuse and waste prevention organisations across Scotland.
CRNS provides advice to members on finance, and starting up reuse and recycling enterprises, and offers ongoing assistance with project development as well as working to keep members up to date on environmental policy and regulations, materials pricing and new markets, and helping to direct them to other sources of business support.
CRNS also works to foster partnerships between members and local authorities, housing associations and the private sector, among others.
