Veronica Olivotto - Administrative Assistant

Experience and Expertise

Veronica Olivotto is Administrative Assistant for the Scottish Institute of Sustainable Technology (SISTech), including PA to the Executive Director, Professor Paul Jowitt.

Veronica holds a postgraduate degree in ecotourism and previous experience in the tourism field. Her background includes administration/office and IT skills, experience in the tourism/leisure booking sector and a BSc in Tourism and Local Community. Veronica has developed a strong interest for many aspects of sustainability in tourism, focusing on the socio-economic and environmental impacts of tourism on the livelihood of local people; community-based ecotourism and community appraisal; and sustainable practices in eco-lodge building for the conservation of nature and wildlife.

Veronica provides assistance to the SISTech team, organising meetings & seminars and processing papers for publication in the Civil Engineering and Environmental Systems journal.
