Assessing the Compatibility of SEPA Procedures with the Revised Statutory Guidance to SEPA on Sustainable Development

Project Summary

A SD assessment framework was devised by which procedural manuals were assessed in light of statutory guidance provided to SEPA regarding sustainable development indicators and guidance.

Semi-structured telephone interviews were conducted with manual owners in order to establish the extent to which SD guidance and indicators were considered when writing or revising material.

The assessment framework enables ongoing assessment in light of future guidance provided to SEPA.
