Strategic Environmental Assessment for "The future of Flood Risk Management in Scotland"

Project Summary

This study is currently being undertaken by a combined team from SISTech and MWH with the added support from Enfusion on behalf of the Scottish Government. The work follows on from the development of a National Flooding Framework and the development of sustainable flood management proposals by a Flood Issues Advisory Committee. MWH has been providing ongoing support to the Scottish Government on updating the framework and preparing draft regulatory impact assessment. In accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act, an SEA is required of the proposals to define what environmental issues might impinge on the SFM proposals and if modifications or additions will be required.
