Strategic Environmental Assessment Workshops

Project Summary

In March 2005, SISTech held a series of workshops on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). The SEA workshops were aimed at practitioners within responsible authorities (as defined by the SEA Regulations) and provided a valuable opportunity for practitioners to develop practical skills and knowledge of the SEA processes and to network with other SEA practitioners. The Scottish Executive sponsored the workshops. Throughout the planning and delivery stages of the project SISTech worked closely with the consultation authorities, SNH, SEPA, and Historic Scotland.
