Joanne Pope - Administrative Assistant

Experience and Expertise

Joe has over seven years experience in a range of environmental fields and has developed a strong interest in sustainable development and associated energy management and climate change issues. With a BSc in Environmental Management & Geology, she has experience in practical conservation, waste management and biodiversity as well as extensive administration and office skills.

Before moving to SISTech Joe worked for the Environment Agency within the Biodiversity team as the area's Habitats Directive Co-ordinator for almost five years. This role involved technical impact assessments and working closely with key stakeholders including English Nature, water companies, local authorities and power generators. Through this work Joe also developed a good knowledge of water resource, water quality, waste and air quality issues.
