National and International Evidence on Tackling Hard to Treat Properties

Project Summary

SISTech undertook a review of the evidence for how best to treat hard to treat properties in Scotland to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. The report paid particular attention to tenements and properties with solid walls as these make up the majority of hard to treat properties in Scotland and have significant potential for making energy efficiency interventions. Evidence was drawn from an extensive range of sources, including Keith Baker’s PhD research.
