Carbon Strategy & Accounting
The current drive towards the reduction of GHG emissions from anthropogenic sources has resulted in a need for businesses to implement robust
and effective policies relating to climate change. An important consideration of any carbon strategy is how carbon and other GHG emissions
will be accounted for in terms of organisational boundaries, emissions scope and data sources.
SISTech has considerable experience in working with clients to formulate practical carbon strategies which are cognisant of current legislative
requirements and best practice across a wide range of industrial sectors. Furthermore, carbon accounting expertise has been developed and honed
through projects relating to the embodied carbon in building materials, the evaluation of carbon accounting methodologies relating to the water
and construction industries, and in the selection of carbon accounting toolsets suitable for the use by local communities.
