Annabel Cooper - Communications Officer

Experience and Expertise

Annabel Cooper is in charge of communications and marketing at SIStech. Her main role is to provide ‘Journalism Support’ to the ISSUES project and team members. Within the ISSUES project, her unique position was created to facilitate the improved knowledge exchange of SUE research. Annabel’s main task is to publicise SUE by producing press releases, summaries, articles and features for a variety of audiences, using the skills she gained as a published journalist and recent graduate of Napier’s MSc Journalism programme. Annabel also has experience working in PR and Marketing and frequently draws on these skills to engage with stakeholders and end users. Her role is expanding all the time and she now contributes to events management and web design.

In her spare time Annabel presents an arts and culture show on community radio and writes reviews, features and news pieces for local and national press.
