Implementation Strategies for Sustainable Urban Environment Systems

Project Summary

In order to ensure the up take of research outputs of the Sustainable Urban Environment Programme, EPSRC has funded SISTech@Heriot-Watt University and Cambridge University to look at knowledge transfer in the built environment. As lead partner in this project SISTech@Heriot-Watt University is in charge of project management, research and analysis, facilitation and workshops, engaging with a variety of end user audiences and liaising with the research community.

The role of the ISSUES project is to understand the barriers to effective knowledge transfer, to suggest solutions to these and to facilitate better communication, knowledge exchange and dissemination between end users and researchers.
